Merry Christmas!
It' been a long time again. But I finally graduated from college just this week and now I can finally rest for a bit. 
Here are some updates on our beloved mangaka

Promo Strip by the publisher on vol. 2:


Volume 2 is set to be released some time between the first half of 2012. The exact date is unknown.  Wang Yi is still working very hard on the manuscript as we speak, so let's get our fingers crossed!

It's been a while. I hope everyone had a beautiful summer.  After my last post, my life got quite busy. But I am still hanging there and here are some late updates:

She mentioned a little about vol. 2
on why it takes her a long time to draw each scene, it's because she's still not use to drawing the dialog bubbles.


Here is a rough translation for the page (except for the text in the first bubble, too small to see):

R: You didn't notice how the gold mirror handle is  extremely thin and smooth?
R: It's most suitable for a certain part of your body.

UPDATES ON SCANLATION:


Received raw scans for Bath Dream ver. 2, waiting for translation.

 《ビバリとルイ》

The title is after the two leads, Bibari and Lui, aka B&L, a pun on Boys Love (ボーイスラーブ) or BL.


If you have seen Saturday Night Live, this is something similar. It is a BL themed skit (from the show Pikaru no Teiri).

The characters:

• boss: 
  • 早乙女ビバリ (Saotome Bibari)
• subordinates:
  • 我修院ルイ (Gasyuuin Lui)
  • OL大島麻衣 (Oshima Mai)
• レオン (Leon, introduced in ep6)

The setting: office romance.

The problem: Whenever B&L are about to get it on, they are interrupted by Mai.

The LOL moment: Bibari will always rip open Lui's dress shirt in the most comical way.

At the end, Rui will alway get so frustrated and yell at Mai to leave.

Sadly, there are no subs. But hey, who cares, it's not everyday you get to see a man rip open another men's shirt till the point you can see all the buttons fly off.

Just saw on Jo Chen's blog that her current dj series "In These Words" are going to appear in BE・BOY GOLD October (which is on 08/27).  I wonder if Libre is going to do the same with this series (like FYJT) and release a tankoubon when it completes. 

Jo Chen is currently working on the 4th chapter. 

Since May, I have been swept up off my feet like a teenage girl by potatoes, vitamin water, and catch phrases like 'ding dong' and 'recharge'. Now you might wonder what they all have in common, they're just a few reasons that makes "The Greatest Love" one of the best Korean romance comedies in 2011.  If you haven't watched it yet, I highly recommend it and don't let the corny title fool you, because by the end, you'll appreciate the title for what it is; what lies beyond the famous stars and their self image is the greatest love story told in the setting of the korean entertainment industry, 

Now how popular did this drama got? It became a viral sensation with many fan made parodies. And I am here to share with you all my favorite one that is full of BL.
